Yes, this is the way Telit solve this problem, via AT#RSEN command.
Siemens have another approach via AT^SRSA command and ^SRSM URC.
I hope something similar is available to the MC series.
I have also found out that I probably can create this functionality using Open AT, but that isn’t compatible with the MC series.
This is another animal.
