Hi,
Is there anyway to give power to the fx30 RTC because we have an application where we need accurate time but the fx30 is attached to a main battery which is removed frequently. It would have been good if there was somewhere to insert a coin cell inside the modem to use the rtc bat input.
Anyone have any idea of how to do this? There is 3rd party people removing the battery so having another large battery that powers the whole device would power hungry I imagine. Would the best bet be just to design an external I2C rtc or is there a better way? I want to only power the rtc not the whole device.
Thanks
