NAS service: set system selection preference, LTE

Hi there,

I’m using QMICLI NAS service to request LTE system selection preference (ie, “–nas-set-system-selection-preference=lte”). A request is responded to by “System selection preference set successfully; replug your device.”. I can’t replug the device (MC7430) 'cause it’s not easily accessible; so, I turn its power off for a few seconds and then back on. Unfortunately, the system selection preference is unchanged, as before.

How can the system selection preference be set for the MC7430, permanently?

Is the --nas-get-system-selection-preference not showing the newly set value?

Note that you can request a module power cycle also with qmicli, e.g.:

$ qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --dms-set-operating-mode=offline
$ qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --dms-set-operating-mode=reset
