MC8792v problem

Hi,
We bought three MC8792V cards for a research project. We are using them with a single board computer (Toradex Daisy+Robin), running windows xp. We installed the Watcher (downloaded from the sierra wireless website filename Watcher_Generic.msi). The drivers seem working fine (no windows exclamation marks), but I cannot get the module out of airplane mode!
I also tried connecting to it through the AT commands port (with Hyperterminal). AT+CFUN is always 0. If I try AT+CFUN=1, then I get OK, but AT+CFUN? responds 0. So, it seems that I cannot activate the modem. Any suggestions?
I am in Cyprus. Are there any compatibility issues with the networks here?

same problem here.
I am using an Atom based industrial PC under XP.
Somebody told me that it is propably a mini PCIe compatibility issue.
So i disconnected pin 20 (W_DISABELED#), pulled it high.
But still the same.

Anybody?

Still the same,
trying in Italy with different sims and operators without success,
the network appear always disconnected,
any ideas?
