I would like to receive SMS when I am connected to Verizon LTE network. In noticed when I switch module to connect to CDMA network, I can get SMS message without problem. When I am connected to LTE network, I will not get any SMS until I switch module to CDMA. I am using module MC7700 too.(LTE on AT&T) With this module is possible to get SMS during LTE connection without problem. I am using QMI for sending/reading SMS from module in both cases but receiving SMS on Verizon LTE does not work. Do you have some idea how to solve that?
thank you for that information. I did not know about it. Unfortunately APN “vzwims” looks that is IPv6 only. Is it possible to use another APN where LTE connection and receiving SMS is possible? I use firmware this firmware in module: SWI9600M_03.05.10.09ap and APN “vzwinternet”
