MC7355 and GNSS

Windows 7 32bit mobile data terminals, and everything we have seen is that the MC7355 devices in our mobiles has GNSS capability. The units show NMEA ports assigned to the Sierra devices, but we continue to receive bad sentence data.

Using an OEM driver version MC7355 Build4093. Several GPS clients reporting errors on several devices, so I am hoping someone may see something obvious in the following simple gpsd test, or could recommend a better test to find more debug information.
