Limit TX power in HL7588

Hi,

I have hl7588 lte modem, It supports max tx power of 23dbm(368) . But i want to limit or set the maximum TX power that modem can’t cross.
for e.g. If I set txpower say 20dbm using WMTXPOWER command, will the modem cross that limit or stay within the set tx power value.

If you set txpower 20dbm using WMTXPOWER command, the modem will stay within the tx power value.

My understanding was that the modem will change the txpower itself depending on the network conditions. Is it wrong?
