I installed a DW5811E/EM7455 into my Dell Precision 7720 and also installed a 4G LTE sim card. The sees the modem and sim just fine. It also sees networks available, but it does not connect. What should I be doing or looking for to diagnose what is going on?

It’s amazing when the correct drivers are installed. I couldn’t find a com port to connect to issue at commands when I saw I was using the generic Microsoft drivers instead of the Dell version. Once I installed the Dell drivers and rebooted the laptop it started working again.
