How should I deal with t_pwr_off_seq on WP76xx?

Could you tell me how to deal with a long period of WP76xx Power-off Sequence time(0.4～5.5[s])?

If power instantaneous interruption ocurrs, how to stop WP76xx safely.

Battery? EDLC?
Is there any other good way?
