I’m at a loss. I am testing a windows mobile 5 device with a wavecom q2687 wireless CPU. Everything seems to work fine, including surfing the internet, receiving emails (direct IMAP, or MSN) and donwloading files with FTP.
Uploading files however is very slow. It’s so slow that a 28 kilobyte file takes 40 minutes to upload. In the ethereal dump on the ftp server, I see a LOT of retransmitted packages.
it seems to me that a lot of packages are lost somewhere and I am wondering why this happens only via GPRS. ActiveSync and WiFi on this device work pretty well, just the GPRS doesn’t.
