Help Me To Initialise GPRS

Dear Awneil
I forwarded the port 50505 of my router and configured it as TCP.Now I got my IP:220.225.2.180 from whatsmyip.net.My IP in my LAN network is 192.168.1.8. Now what should I do connect between my PC and the PC registered with Airtel?

I made a test client server program with VB and winsocks api which runs properly when I give the IPs assigened by the router (say 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.7).The server program only listens to a particular port that whether any particular 192.168.x.x IP is trying to connect to it and and the client program sends a request to the server program with the server IP and that particular port which the server program is listening.
Now how can I connect between the the PCs with the above IPs with this VB program?

Please Help.

If you’re connecting a computer, it will almost certainly be using the modem as just a dumb communication channel, and connecting to your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Therefore 117.99.16.191 will be the IP address assigned by your ISP - just as if you had connected via a dial-up modem on an analogue phone line
