We were getting 30+ down and 17+ up and then had a great idea that we should update the firmware and ALESO. Now, we are hardly getting 5 down and 0.5 up with pings anywhere up to 289ms.
What happened?
We have attempted to factory reboot, reset, downgrade, etc. Nothing helps.
How can we reset to the software and firmware that was on the device when it was purchased?
I’m not 100% certain, but I think the issue is due to the router switching me to Band 13 instead of Band 4. It was on 4 before the update and after the update it was on 13. I unplugged it for a few hours and the speed is back. I checked, and it is back to Band 4. How do I lock it on Band 4? I have other LTE routers where you can select the Band(s) that you want to use. I know 13 is great for many people but maybe not for me.
I REALLY do appreciate the help on this. Where do I enter the command to set the band as I do not see this option like I have with other LTE routers? If this isn’t something basic, are you able to log into TeamViewer and do this for me?
If so, how much?
I have try at!band=09,“band4”,0000000000000000,0000000000000008,0000000000000000,0000000000000000 on RS232 port LX60 to lock it on LTE Band 4 only at my side. OK response is returned on LX60.
Remove the SIM card.
Set the band 4
at!band=09,“band4”,0000000000000000,0000000000000008,0000000000000000,0000000000000000
Reboot the device.
Insert the SIM card.
But after I reboot the LTE band reverts to LTE band of mobile network operator (not LTE band 4). It can be a limited or a firmware issue on LX60 (Radio Firmware Version SWI9X07Y_02.10.01.00 000000, ALEOS Software Version 4.12.0 P31 , WP7603 chipset)
