Handling of Download failure in DS 1.2.0

It’s a shame that I didn’t get to try 1.2.0 during beta; as reported elsewhere, I’ve previously had problems with new IDEs messing-up existing ones - so I couldn’t risk it…

But now the time has come…

Just hit a problem when a download fails:

In this situation, the download progress dialogue just hangs for what seems like a minute, and then disappears.
The error messages are not shown, and nothing appears in the ‘Details’ view.

I had to use Hypoterminal to see what was actually happening.

BTW: the actual cause of the download problem was as here: [q2686h, firmware R74] AT+WDWL problem (Solved) - #11 by imatveev13

Thanks for the issue report, we’ll have a look.
BTW, please note that we also plan to add memory checks (RAM config, Open AT app area size) before download operations, to provide more information in such cases.

There is, as far as I can see, currently no documentation on errors from AT+WDWL nor how to resolve them… :unamused:
