Is it possible to read gsm cell id,from wavecom module?if so,any pointers regarding it,will be very helpful.

AT+CREG (section 11.2) - you’re interested in the LAC and CI.

You may need to set mode 2 to enable them to be reported as unsolicited notifications.

Also see AT+WLOC (section 11.6) and AT+CCED (section 11.3)

You have to enable the LOCN feature in AT+WFM to allow AT+WLOC to work.
