The documentation of the GL61x0 shows that the contacts are numbered vertically (pin 1 is bottom row, first column; pin 2 is top row, first column; pin 3 is bottom row, second column; …) This is contrary to the standard numbering pattern provided by Molex (manufacturer of connector in question) which numbers 1 through 4 on the bottom row and then 5 through 8 on the top row. What I would like to know is if anyone can confirm that the documentation is correct and that I can follow the connection description table with the pin numbers given or if this is a mistake.
I seem to recall other instances where Wavecom did not follow the connector manufacturer’s pin numbering scheme
