Which Energiya app is available (Energiya or ServiceExtADC) with :

  • a new FX30S firmware 2.0.14
  • a new FX30S firmware 3.0.0
  • a new FX30S firmware 3.0.2
  • a FX30S updated to 3.0.0
  • a FX30S updated to 3.0.2

Hi romuald

The Energiya application is available on FX30S firmware 3.0.0 and 3.0.2.

Please help to tick “Solution” if your question is answered.

The Energiya App doesn’t start at startup or boot.
I have to launch by start command the App.
Is it possible to get a standalone setup ?

Hi @romuald

The Energiya application was added to the firmware 3.0.0, 3.0.2 and it conflicts with the IO Service.
Legato does not allow more than one app to connect to the API for a given GPIO. A second application that attempts to connect will be killed by the framework.
In Legato, the default way to attach to an API is static, on startup. This is what Energiya has done. So their app grabs all IO on the IoT slot at startup, which prevents the IO Service from using it, even if there is no Energiya card inserted. This will break any FX30 which is currently using the IoT slot, such as for CanBus cards.
To fix this in the short term, the Energiya application can be changed to manual-start. If it is needed for evaluation, it can be started from the command line until the software team has a solution.
