Yes, I saw that. I just wanted a confirmation.
I also use this part number
Thanks for the confirmation. Is there any tutorial or example on how to use this Dev kit along with the SDK?
do you mean the MBPL SDK?
there is document for it:
Okay, I bought the Dev Kit, mounted the EM9293, connected the antenna cables, etc. Where are these pin 20 and 22 located?
you can see EM92 specification , section “Mechanical and Environmental Specifications”
I looked, it provides diagrams, etc. but it doesn’t talk about what you mentioned the other day and it does not help answer my question: how to get my EM92923 detected? A more detailed answer will go a long away instead of one sentence answer. Since you have an EM9291 with the same Dev Kit I purchased, how did you get it to work? Thank you in advance.
Thanks! But that’s not the only difference: CN203 was also not the same as yours. In any case, I switched SW202 as your instructed and modified CN203 as well. No change though, board is not detected. Any other differences?
Okay, I found the solution before you posted this photo (thank you by the way). I had to put the 3.3v to on. Here is what I get from the dmesg | grep usb.
Does it mean it works now?
can you do AT command with /dev/ttyUSB0?
Yes, i think it works now
Thanks for confirming. Do you know where I can find firmware source code?
No ,you cannot find it, it is not open source for firmware
Yes, there is the source code of the firmware in the SDK package. BTW, I’m still not sure what was pin 20 and pin 22 you were referring to and not sure why you did send me to check Mechanical and Environmental of EM92 spec where my question was clearly related to the use of the Dev Kit. You didn’t even tell about the Dev Kit as I had to find it myself.
What’s is your role in this forum? Do you work for Sierra Wireless? Is it your job to provide support?
You can see specification section “2.7 PCIE_DIS—Interface Selection” for section “2.3 USB Interface” for more detail.
didn’t you ask how to locate these pins here?
Sorry, just forgot to reply to this post. You mentioned that firmware source code is not available. Could you please explain this: WP76xx firmware Release 9 source code
You don’t have to to answer, but just to show you where my question came from: there is evidence that firmware source code is made available.
