The EM9191 module I was working with (on a RPi CM4 board via adapters) suddenly stopped working. I tried it on EM9191 dev kit and it’s not getting detected. I have also tried to reset the module by pressing the ‘Module Reset’ button on the dev kit. Nothing seemed to happen either.
Anyone can shed some light on how / whether I can revive the module?
For almost-hardware level diagnosis, you can add a Zebra strip (conductive rubber) between module and devkit carrier board and connect to the devkit usb console. The 0.2€ zebra strip is mentioned in the devkit documentation, but omitted from the quite expensive devkit, so you have to source it yourself.
