EM9190 and nano sim

I have an EM9190 dev kit and EM9191 5G modem module and I am unable to read my nano sim:

Using the nano to full size adapter provided with the dev kit. It does look like it is protruding outside of the connector. hmmm…

You put into the sim slot in wrong direction

Please follow the sim icon/diagram beside the SIM slot. SIM should be removed, rotated 180 degrees(so that the sim’s slanted edge is at top-right, instead of bottom-left(now)) then inserted again.
