EM7590 FW download failed - secret key is invalid, pls update the bootloader with se

Was trying to update the module FW. Linux OS. Using the fdtl tool. FW update failed. Error was secret key is invalid pls update the bootloader with se.
What does this mean? How to fix it?
Current FW is 01.01.07.00, trying to go to Verizon, 02.02.03.00. This is a new module direct from the Semtech factory.

I checked. I am not using the latest version. Ok we will update the version and retest.

We updated to the latest version, version 4.1.0. Test result - no good, same error.

how about upgrading in Windows?

Not possible. Module is inside a router. Looks like we have a module bug here. Can you check with R&D?

i don’t see problem to upgrade the FW of EM7595 in ubuntu 20 with this tool
What is the SKU of your module?
