EM 9191 Band N41 Cannot Detect Network

Hi,

I have a EM 9191 modem with specs

I am setting OAI gNB at band n41 and my Pixel 6 could connect to gNB successfully. However, EM 9191 cannot detect the network.

I have also change the default all bands to customized band set(with only band n78 and n41). EM9191 works with n78 but not on n41.

Any suggestion on how to make it could detect band n41?

Are you using 4 antenna?
Which carrier are you using?
Have you tried with latest FW 03.10.07.00?

I am using OAI gNB, not commercial carrier. For my gNB config, the plmn is 001/01.

It supports band n41 as indicated by “at!band=?”. Is there a special reason to use the latest FW?

have you verified if your area is having n41?
Did you try with other modem and see if it can attach to n41?

No special reason for upgrading FW, but your FW is a bit old (two years ago), so just see if there is any luck

No other n41 but not 100% sure (not sure about commercial carrier)

Yes, as I stated in the post, my pixel 6 could connect to n41.

Do you have the command used for setting band n78?

Does this modem compulsory need 4 5G antennas connected?
