Disconnected while downloading EM7455 Sprint FW

I was told (and given drivers by Sprint) to upload new firmware (FW) to the EM7455. I copied the FW on my ARM processor and typed the given line as root.

./fwdldarm -s ./slqssdk -d 9x30 -p ./FW

For some reason, the std output states that I am disconnected while downloading the FW. I assume it trying to download to the EM7455 through the USB port which I am connected. Then, 20 seconds in the middle of the transfer, I get the following disconnect error. I tried it several times but I always get disconnected. I am able to use minicom to connect to the device so I know the EM7455 is active and communicating through my USB port.
