Developer Studio Suported (5.3.1) update to Legato versions 16.01- 19.01

Hello there,

The Legato version in the WP76xx Firmware Release 13.1/13.2/13.3 Components is 19.02.0, but the current Developer Studio 5.3.1 (Build Version 5.3.1.201802071201) only supports 19.01.

Is there a time frame where there will be a Developer Studio update to support this Legato version ?

One more question - What are (some of) the issues that can happen with an unsupported version ?

I can see WP76 R13 package with legato 19.2.0 in DS packages view.

Hi Jyi,

Yes the WP76xx R13 package (containing Legato 19.2.0) is available but its description is marked as:
“This package is a recent one that has not been tested yet with current Developer Studio version”.

And in the DS Help -> About pop-up it states that only versions Legato versions 16.01 - 1901 are currently supported.

So that is why I am wondering: When will it be supported ? And what are the likely issues in using an unsupported version ?

I don’t see problem in using that in DS.

The DS seems will be end of life later:

In the future, probably you need to use LEAF + Visual Studio Code.
