CTZU - no timezone update

Hi,
I’ve started to work with HL7800 (4.6.9.4).
I’m in Poland, so my timezone is GMT+1 and we have daylight saving - now it’s GMT+2
Orange supports NITZ, beacuse any other modems (Quectels, Thales) return +CTZU response, but HL7800 not:
0007:80> AT+CTZR?
0007:80< +CTZR: 2
0007:80< OK
0007:90> AT+CTZU?
0007:90< +CTZU: 1
0007:90< OK
0034:09< +KSUP: 0
0035:75< +CEREG: 2
0036:42< +SIM: 0
0036:42> AT+CCLK?
0036:42< +CCLK: “00/00/00,00:00:00-0”
0036:43< OK
0045:37< +CEREG: 1,“D309”,“05322A10”,7,“00101101”,“01000111”
0045:37< +CEREG: 4,1,“D309”,“05322A10”,7,“00101101”,“01000111”
0045:48> AT+CCLK?
0045:48< +CCLK: “22/09/09,12:50:27+0”
0045:48< OK

CTZU is set to 2
" 2 — Enable time zone change event reporting with URC +CTZE: ,,[] "
so I should get +CTZE: …, but I get no URC with time.

What am I doing wrong?

Regards
Darek

Hi,
please look at the logs below.
I set CTZU and CTZR to 0, clock to fake time, then restart modem for sure.
After wakeup the modem I set CTZU=1 and CTZR,=2, but I I do not see any URC.
Time is synchronised, but CCLK response is cut and not correct - in Poland it should be “+08”, not “-0”

Hi @darek.benert
I could reproduce the behavior as your steps on my module. So, I think it’s better to raise the issue via email tech support: support@sierrawireless.com for further deeper support.

Thanks,
