Cannot enable EM9293 GPS feature

I used follow commands to enable EM9293 GPS

AT!CUSTOM=“GPSENABLE”,1
AT!CUSTOM=“GPSLPM”,0
AT!CUSTOM=“GPSSEL”,0
AT+WANT=1
AT!GPSFIX=1,255,10

and then I used AT!GPSSTATUS? and AT!GPSLOC? to get GPS status

It looks didn’t work, how do I enable EM9293 GPS feature?

Which firmware are you using?
did you connect GPS antenna?
Did you check aT!GPSSATINFO? to see if any satellite can be viewed?
BTW, are you testing in outdoor area?

you are using standalone mode for AT!GPSFIX, it will not work if it does not see satellite

Do you mean I need to use AT!GPSFIX to set MS-based or MS-assisted mode ?

I would suggest you to do it in outdoor with standalone mode to make sure it can view the satellite first

Dose firmwave SWIX65C_02.13.08.00 have GPS feature? Do I need to upgrade firmwave for GPS feature ?

why don’t you upgrade to the latest one?
FW 2.13.08.00 is quite old, almost two years ago

Because my colleague at remote site uses FW 2.13.08.00, but he cannot enable GPS feature, so I am not sure if it is firmware too old problem

you can upgrade the firmware with other PRI and check
