Hi SierraWireless,
It seems that on my GX400 i am able to go to the Internet – even though I have the Outgoing set to BLOCKED. I go to VPN/ split tunnel and options all blocked… but I still can go to the Internet.
Can you please explain what is going on.
How can I block outgoing and incoming Internet connections ?
I want the traffic to go out only on the defined tunnel.

Hi,
The Split tunnel feature requires that the user has enabled one of the VPN servers and configured correctly. The user can enable VPN1 to IPSEC, which is pre-configured for the internal test VPN. When enabled, out of band settings can be tested and should work.
If you does not want to enable VPN settings, but still restrict traffic, port and IP filters can be independently enabled, and blacklisting or whitelisting options are available.
Also make sure you are using the latest firmware.

Alex
Hi Rex_Alex,
Thanks for your reply … but I believe there must be some confusion.
I simply want to block internet access on my GX400.
I configured a VPN lan2lan tunnel on my GX400. I don’t want my GX400 to try sending packets to the Internet if the fail to meet the interesting vpn traffic critera.
What the GX400 should do is simply drop the traffic if it doesn’t meet the VPN interesting traffic critera.
As i mention in my first problem definition - I disabled split tunneling on the GX400 therefore I expect the traffic to be dropped.
For outbound traffic … which TAB do I use to enable filtering ???
