We have a Headset with a host microcontroller using the I2S audio interface to an BC127. The BC127 is running the HFP Profile. Firmware development on the Bluetooth audio interface was completed in 2019 with BC127 firmware “Melody Audio V7.2”. The headset pairs with a Motorola radio. Audio was good, until recently when new firmware was installed on the Motorola radio. Now when the volume knob on the Motorola radio is less than half volume, there is no audio on the headset speaker. When the volume knob on the Motorola radio is greater than half volume, then audio can be heard on the headset speaker. We would like audio to be heard on the headset speaker, regardless of the Motorola volume knob setting as before the new firmware was installed on the Motorola radio. Motorola has provided a Bluetooth trace showing:

Remote Audio Volume Control True
They are suggesting that Remote Audio Volume Control should be False. Is there a command to set Remote Audio Volume Control should to False for BC127 firmware “Melody Audio V7.2”?
Hi @bheise,
As far as I read in BC127 Melody Audio 7.x User Guide, there is no command to properly execute Remote Audio Volume Control function to False as you mentioned.
Thanks,
