AT+WOPEN=3 throws error

As per API description, AT+WOPEN=3 should clear user area of flash. But I am seeing error on this AT command. Any suggestions?

you only can clear area of flash, only if the application is stopped.

stop your application first with at+wopen=0, then erase it with at+wopen=3
