I USE HL854xx MODEL
I SEND MESSAGE AT+CMGS=“mOBILE NIMBER (+918099082702)” BUT THE RESPONSE IS OPERATIONS NOT ALLOWED
ex:-
AT+CMGS="+918099082702"
+CME ERROR: operation not allowed
I ALSO SET AT+CMGF=1
CAN ANY ONE TELL HOW TO SEND SMS THROW AT COMMAND

Can you send the following commands to the unit?
at+cgmr
at+creg?
at+cgreg?
at+csq
at+cmee=1
at+cpin?
That will give a better idea of what is going on.

Is the SIM valid?
Does your service agreement support sending texts?
If it’s pre-paid, does it have credit?
Does it work if you put the SIM in a different deviec?
