I am using XM1100 in one of my system. It will be using an external antenna (active antenna) for GPS signal receive.
Since the antenna connector needs to be terminated at external connector on the chassis , I would like to know how to overcome electro static (ESD) events. Is the Module hardened to handle such event.s??
Pls let us know any recommended design steps at the front end to be tolerant to ESD events
