Hi Sierra,
Thank you for releasing an updated version of Release 13.
Unfortunately the yocto tar.bz2 file is corrupted, could you please upload a valid one?
With kind regards,
John.
Hi Sierra,
Thank you for releasing an updated version of Release 13.
Unfortunately the yocto tar.bz2 file is corrupted, could you please upload a valid one?
With kind regards,
John.
just tried this morning, I don’t see problem to extract Legato-Dist-Source-mdm9x28-SWI9X07Y_02.28.03.03.tar.bz2.
that’s strange, I just redownloaded the file and I can’t extract it.
I am using Firefox for download, Ubuntu 16.04, tar 1.28.
I am getting a data integrity error when decompressing.
How did you do it?
I download in ubuntu 14.04 pc with firefox.
I just double click the file to extract it.
ah, can you actually build the target?
Or are you just seeing the yocto/poky folder, not the rest?
could you test the tar file with:
“bunzip2 -tvv Legato-Dist-Source-mdm9x28-SWI9X07Y_02.28.03.03.tar.bz2”
for me?
I am getting a CRC error.
I just extract the file and see the standard folders as before.
anyone else have this issue?
Even when I download with wget https://downloads.sierrawireless.com/AirPrime/WP76xx/Release13.1/Legato-Dist-Source-mdm9x28-SWI9X07Y_02.28.03.03.tar.bz2, I get the same file.
Which is corrupted according to my tar and bunzip2 programs. I cannot extract it using the GUI like @jyijyi
Someone from siërra can verify?
UPDATE:
It turns out that there is a faulty update of the bzip2 package in Ubuntu 16.04 (and possibly others).
I downgraded my bzip2 package to 1.0.6-8.1 and libbz2-1.0 to 1.0.6-8.1 and it fixed my “corruption problem”.
