WP7607 - PPP mode

Hello.
I am using the WP7607-1 modem - I want to switch it to PPP mode, but I haven’t yet succeeded. If I understand correctly, then after the command ATD*99# the modem should answer OK and CONNECT, but in my case this does not happen.
What am I doing wrong?
