Wmnew script error 3

Hello,
I’m having an error when i’m trying to run a sample project

“Wmnew script error 3 (bad environment settings)”
How can i fix this problem?

Hi takis,

when installing cygwin, did you select that all packages should be installed?

When I first installed the SDK I had the same problem.

In my case the McAffee Virus scanner was running during the installation so the setup couldn’t write all settings. So I disabled McAffee and run the setup again. Now everything works fine.
