What is transport layer in SMS SDK?

Hi,

I noticed in some networks, when transport layer reg. status equals 4 (full service). MO SMS fails. I suspect this is somehow related to IMS, but not sure.

Can someone explain to me what is transport layer in SMS? How can I set its reg. status to 0(No service) manually(without PS detach)?

What cause value is the SMS failing with? What networks are you seeing this on? Also what unit/firmware is this on?
