SL8082/SL6087 with AirVantage Trial account

Hi,

Need to advice using SL8082/SL6087 connect to AirVantage Trial Account? I have both chip but i not
able to get it to work on AirVantage M2M cloud (na.airvantage.net)

I try register new system type : AirPrime Smart modules ( Q2686G ,…SL6087 )

i not able to select SL8082 type and for SL6087 type i not able to connect to m2m cloud
after i do the following.

Select the Type of AirPrime Smart Module you want to register
Provide the IMEI and Serial Number of your System
Switch on your System
In the modem check that communications with AirVantage M2M Cloud are configured:
AT+WDSS:0,“hicard”

“AT+WDSC=3,3”, then

“AT+WDSS=1,1”

Hi,

Right now, AVMS platform doesn’t support SL8082 modules…
While trying to connect with SL6087, are you getting any error?

Hi alex,

For SL6087 i follow instuction from the na.airvantage.net login and register step,

a) Select the Type of AirPrime Smart Module you want to register
: SL6087
b) Provide the IMEI and Serial Number of your System
c) Switch on your System
d) In the modem check that communications with AirVantage M2M Cloud are configured:
i) at+wdss=0,“hicard”
ii) at+wdsc=3,3
iii) at+wdss=1,1

Return status after execute above command:
OK

+WDSI: 4

+WDSI: 7

+WDSI: 4

+WDSI: 7

from the AT+command guide documentation indicate that event WDSI 7 mean session with the server failed.

Now i still have the error as shown above.

Any advice :slight_smile:

Could you please capture logs to see what went wrong?

Levels :
ATI: 1, 3, 5, 7, 26
MMT: 3, 5, 7, 27
RDMS: 1 - 16

hi alex,

I have manage to do a connection to airvantage server due to the device have been set with different datacenter (EU datacenter URL) for the OMA-DM layer.

Thank you to your sierra wireless team had provide me the hashed URL/signature two day ago, now i able to use the device with airvantage. :slight_smile:
