Sierra MC8775/MC8771 connector pins scheme

Hello!

Informed me pls. what Sierra MC8775/MC8771 connector pins(pinouts) scheme?
I want to use this modules to develop M2M industrial modem.
If newest reletive PCI-e interface form-factor modules have identity connector pins(pinouts) scheme?

I have CDMA and GSM / UMTS Mini Card
Hardware Integration Guide v.1.14.
But can’t understend some moments.

Best regards, Oleg

Hi,

The exact connector pin assignments is listed on the Product Technical Specification and Customer Design Guidelines document for specific product.

For example, for MC8705:

Still, for new design, why you targeting for MC8775/MC8771?
Both are legacy products released 8+ years… Better to use update product…

Thant you “lotam”.
But I can’t find connector pinouts scheme in recomended datasheet from you. That was exactly in older datasheet, I see.
By the way I hope the new modules have such connector pinouts in newest hurdware version.
Why I using so old PCI-e modules such as MC8775/MC8781 - because I have some quantity of them and have old project, which actualised again. Also the price of new modules is bigger.

But mite this I have new target:
Can I upgrate this MC8775 for 2 Mbps Uplink speed?

table 4-1?

I think HSUPA is out around 2007 but MC8775 released before that… so I am afraid 2M uplink is not possible, best to get more recent version to also enjoy all the enhancement.

I know exactly, the MC8775 upgradable to 7.2 Mbps downlink (Rx) from basic 3.6. But if it so, this firmware can lift uplink to 2 Mbps, isn’t it? Because the speed the data transmission protocol provides.
