RV50x firmware updates, steps and process?

I have two multiple year old RV50x that I have to put on a new cellular plan with new SIM cards, but first need to do firmware updates on them. Can the firmware updates be fully done locally with AceManager web interface? Are there specific firmware versions I have to step up through?

  1. What ALEOS version is your RV50X running? What is the radio module firmware version?
    You can check this information using the web ACEmanager under the Status > About tab.

    Warning: Upgrading from ALEOS 4.15.x and earlier releases to 4.18.1 is not directly supported.

    AirLink RV50X routers must first be upgraded to ALEOS 4.16.0 (see RV50 Firmware List 4.16.0) before upgrading to ALEOS 4.18.1.
