Q2687 - UART & USB sharing problem

Hi All,
My question is related to Q2687 UART1 & USB sharing, whenever UART1 & USB port cables are connected to system(PC)—USB port responds well so that i can see all the data trasactions through USB port(Hyper terminal), when we remove UART1 cable then, Q2687 USB port will not respond and i use to get message in my PC saying hardware not detected…Please any one help me in resolving the same.

I was an hardware pin connection issue @ our end.
