The Q2687 has charge control circuit. but my question is that do we need a DC voltage supply or a constant current source to charge the batteries using the built in wavecom charge circuit?
does anyone know reference circuit for this.

Hi, I don’t know if you’ve found it already, but you way want to have a look at the “external battery charging solution” application note.
I know it isn’t exactly what you asked for, but it (hopefully will) solve my problems with finding out what kind of power source i need for charging the battery.
