I have an MC7430 module and I am trying to establish a PPP connection with Linux Mint 19.1. The modem module is connected to a USB3.1 port. Identically I would like to use the nmcli or mmcli tool.
What I’ve tried is to follow the instructions of the AirPrime - HL78xx - Establishing a PPP Session with a Linux Host documentation (renaming the HL78 to MC74) but what happened is to see with
nmcli device a ppp0 device which was never connected and after a while it was disappeared. At the /dev directory we can see the ttyUSB0, ttyUSB1 and ttyUSB2 devices.
