I’m using a Q64 modem with the GR64 plug in, and we’re using roaming SIM cards which can connect to any of the UK GPRS networks. We use the AT commands to control the modem.
Once I’ve connected to a particular network, I would like to be able to ping a server across the GPRS to measure round trip times, and so select which is the fastest network.
Is this possible? If so, how?
