The Q24 Plus module has 6 spots on top to solder 6 contacts of the simcard holder.
I couldn’t find anything about it in Q24 series guides.
Question: Does this holder needs extra esd chips and etc. like the one that connects to General purpose connector?
Or all this stuff is embedded into the module and i just solder 6 sim contacts straight.
Any thoughts?
I look at the module with soldered sim holder and I see some chips around holder. So the answer is no, this stuff is not embedded in module.
should say that there is no need to extra parts for optional sim holder.
just solder 6 contancts, it works well.
be careful about soldering of sim holder.
