No erorr codes

Hi - been sifting through the copious amount of information trying to et GPS/GNSS working. I can get the at command to tell me its got fix, sat info etc., but certain things like GPSTRACK (ati!gpstrack?, or at!gpstrack=whatever config) just says “ERROR” without a code. I’ve seen this other places as well - feels like I’m missing a ‘debug’ mode or ‘log error level’ setting somewhere, but I’m not finding anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

you can first type AT!GPSEND=0 first, and then try the AT!GPSFIX command.

I’m not sure what that expected output of that was, but here’s what I see:

Keep in mind, one of the things I’m curious about is why I’m getting “ERROR” and not “ERR=some number” etc. GPS appears to be working, but I’ve been trying to get the NMEA data out of it on ttyUSB1 and getting nowehere.

I should have copied the satinfo before runing gpsend, but I did have a nice list of sattelites before running it.

Didn’t it already work for at!gpsfix command

Sorry, I’m not sure what you’re asking. Before I ran the commands you suggested, I could run at!gpssatinfo? and it would spit out a list of the satellites it had locked - though I’m wondering now if that was actually showing me the satellites it had lock on when it last acquired a position(?)

That date is a day old now for whatever that’s worth.

There is no satellite seen in your case

I get that that’s what it’s reporting, but I don’t get why - or why its not reporting them anymore as it was previously. The antenna is sitting in the middle of my back yard where I’ve used it for other projects in the past. Its been on and “looking” for satellites as I understand it (or mis-understand?) for well over 24 hours and I’m not living in a cave. In my previous project (using a GPS only module), I could get a rough fix without the antenna even being outside… My phone, from inside my living room gets a fix from 12 satellites. Granted there’s more going on in my phone, but still… something fishy is going on.

Maybe too cloudy today

Doesn’t get much more clear out…
