HI, I want to use mt7697 wi-fi on mangOH red.
I followed the mtwifi script to setup and install the wifi module on the uart interface as wlan0
But when I run modprobe mt7697core uart 0
I get this error:

Would be very happy if somebody could help.

Unfortunately no, this is exactly what I have already run and I am still encountering the same problem.
are you using the same firmware as the document?
I saw that other user can make it work:
I don`t have the same error as this user. I burn the same image to two different processor and I only encounter the problem in one of them.
as one is OK and the other one is NOK, probably the metal case of the mangoh red board is not properly closed for the NOK module.
BTW, you might need to take more WP76 modules to test
