MC8704 compatibility with linux kernel 3.0.101

Hello everybody,

Does anyone know if MC8704 is compatible with linux kernel 3.0.101 ?

I have the following message when the driver is mount:

[ 3.331145] usb 2-1: config 1 has an invalid interface number: 7 but max is 5
[ 3.340327] usb 2-1: config 1 has no interface number 5

Generically speaking yes it is compatible with kernel 3.0.101, the DirectIP drivers come with most kernels but if yours has not you will need to compile the right one in, from the below link.
