MC7710 force specific band?

Hello

I have a MC7710 card and for some reason it defaults to band 20 which is not supported in my counrty and while it works it is very problematic (slow transfer and a lot of disconnects). Default band in my country is band 3 (to which the MC7710 sometimes connects but quickly switches to band 20), can I send an AT! command that would force MC7710 to only use that band?

I have tried to send a command like this:

at!band=10,”LTE B3”,0,4

unfortunately nothing has changed

Please help.

Hi Mr. Kamil,

Have a nice day. May I know which country you’re ? I’ve installed MC7304 on Lenovo X220T running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and using SIM Card from one of telecommunication service provider where their “current” band is LTE B3. Not sure either your card does requires a specific SIM Card from registered service provider. Believe MC7710 is already “EOL” and recommended to replace with MC7304. Please do check with below commands.

at!entercnd=“A710”
at!band?
at!band=?
at!antsel?
at!antsel=?

Try set based on antenna as below:

at!antsel=3,0,0,1

do check current antenna setup:

at!antsel?

Regards,

Now you should simply activate, select this new “band combo”:

at!band=10
