Is it possible?
Specifically:

DTMF recognition;

Audio phrase/prompt playback
The WP8548x PTS mentions only DTMF generation - not detection/recognition.
I have a WMP100-based Open-AT system which does all this nicely - but that family is all now EOL.
Edit - just to be clear:
“IVR” = “Interactive Voice Response”
ie, where the unit says, “Press ‘1’ for this, ‘2’ for that, or ‘3’ for the other” and the user selects from this “menu” of options by sending DTMF from the phone keypad.
