We are currently using MP70 routers at work and are able to send serial data to multiple IP addresses on the network. We are looking at replacing MP70 with XR60, but I can’t see any option to use UDP Multiple Unicast like what is currently available on the MP70s.
This is a handy feature we use for troubleshooting by allowing data to be sent to another test device. Will this option be available in future firmware updates? Or is this a security risk that has been removed on the XR60 altogether, meaning we can only send serial data to one device on the network?
I checked AirLink OS - XR60-5.0 - Sierra Wireless, but I couldn’t find the UDP Multiple Unicast option like on the MP70. It appears that the XR60 currently does not support UDP Multiple Unicast.
Thanks for confirming that @jerdung. Would Semtech be interested in having that feature available in the future or could we sumbit a feature request in for the team to consider? Else we might have look at other manuafactures that can do this instead.
