IpSec Tunnel between 2 RV50X

Hello,

Is there a guide on how to establish an Ipsec tunnel between two RV50X. I am just looking to establish network connection for two devices on each end of the RV50X.

Hi adoan,

Yes, you can. Two public IPs are required for this scenario. If your IPs are not static, you can use Dynamic DNS.

I did a test and it succeed to establish VPN connection. Because I don’t have two RV50x so I use MP70 as server and RV50x as client. I also don’t have public IP so I use ethernet for WAN link and I put WAN IP in the same subnet. Here is my configuration:

MP70 as server:
WAN IP: 192.168.86.220
Device IP: 192.168.13.31
Local subnet: 192.168.13.0/24

RV50X as client:
WAN IP: 192.168.86.221
Device IP: 192.168.12.31
Local subnet: 192.168.12.0/24

Hi Jerdung

I replicated your configs with 2 RV50 on ver 4.16 and it doesn’t work. Ping fails and client logs appear to show Phase 1 ok, but doesn’t seem to move to Phase 2
