I’m using an RV50 to connect some revenue meters to the WAN and I can’t seem to connected multiple servers to the same radio IP. Does this radio not allow multiple connections or is this a configuration issue on my end?
Hi shane.myers,
I need to clarify a point, just make sure I understand correctly your description
Do you mean that the revenue meters are connected to RV50 and these revenue meters act as servers? And do you want to access these servers from outside over RV50?
Thanks,
Yes, that is correct. I have two servers, which live on different IP’s that both need the same revenue data while we side by side our existing software and migrate to the new software. They both need access to the same gateway simultaneously.
Hi shane.myers,
RV50 only has one ethernet port. In this case, you have 2 servers connected to the device, so there should be a hub or switch placed between servers and RV50.
RV50 should have public IP. Then you need to configure Port Forwarding to direct incoming data to connected devices.
Thanks,
